Jutsus

Okey my idea is basically, instead of just pressing a digit from 1-9 to do a skill(jutsu) then u should be able to make the seals... and every jutsu has it own seals, just like in naruto, and as u gain higher lvls u move ur hands faster , therefore u perform the jutsu faster, meaning, less intervalls between the seals, and when u get to a certain lvl u can learn a new jutsu:) something like that, hope u like the idea^^

I like it alot. Let's say your items/talents decrease your handseal time. So that if you wanna be taijutsu, you can't click talents that reduce your handseal time = you can't double spec jutsus. So let's say you're a ninjutsu based jounin... And you maybe have 0.25 sec time per handseal and wanna make a fireball jutsu... Let's say it takes 5 handseals. Then you click the handseals needed - by using 1-9 - and you make them. But if it takes you over 1 sec to find the handseal, or if you missclick, you have to restart the handsealing. And if you want to use some uber summoning that'll take like 25 handseals, you can't use it in combat cus you'll be interrupted.

And jutsus will also be in different categories.
Examples :
Combat - Can use while moving/jumping. Not interrupted by damage.
Summoning - Can't use while moving/jumping. Interrupted my damage.

me likez it only 1 difference though, have u ever played NNK? Naruto naiteki kensei, anyway, they implemented a hand seal function into their Halflife mod, anyway, u press shift and hold it until the jutsu is finished, and a,w,s,d are different seals, then u start to combine, if u want the game to be fast paced then i think it should be something like that, but let say, qwertasdfg should be the different seals so u dont have to lift ur hand:) but the 1-9 could work:)

a lot of people would like the wasd keys as controls i supose.

yeah but my idea was that "shift" would remove the controls while making seals, when u release shift it would be control keys again:)

... Don't you see how it collides with the movement? How had you imagined that you can dash at someone whilst doing handseals if the handseals are done with WASD? I mean, if the game is WASD based - which it probably is - you can't use the same controls to do handseals. And if you hold shift, it will still remove the ability to move your character while doing jutsus.

I say you use 1-9. Then you can run while pressing them diggits with your other hand, or something.

Nope won't work. i say 1-9

1-9 but you aim manually....taijutsu have just skills....others have jutsu's

the whole Jutsu thing is hard to get in

Toppcom , 1 - 9 is hard to reach with hands.... and that aint make fun

best way in my opinion are handseals its difficulter harder

I vote for targeting just like in WoW....U can pick your jutsu from your jutsu bar using 1-9 or click,and the dude does handsigns himself...higher level,faster handsigns...this would be easier...

but its lame !! cmon dude ... i already got wow.....xD

well the thing is that i thought u shouldnt be able to move while doing a jutsu, gives more realistic feeling to the game rather than just pressing a skill button and it automatically does the jutsu and so on..

Look, if there are combat jutsus, then you use 1-5. And if there are like summonings that require two hands, you use 1-9. You get me? The stronger the jutsu is, the more skill you need to use the numbers. That's fair.

first we should be able to move while making handseals since in the anime they dodge a shuriken or jutsu then use theirs as for hand seals maybe make the movmen W,A,S,D
and the seals up, down, left, right...... or num bad form 1-9 and make it like u dont star with all seal like in order to learn more justsus u need to learn more seals

I really don't like the idea of making handseals with keyboard...

but if it like just presing 1 and it will doe ths skill wat is the diffrnce between this and any other mmorpg and if ther is like control where u can decide wat the seal buttons will be it will make it easir for every1

It's too hard...there are thousands of keyboard noobs...probably I'm one of them..and you know,there will be a lot of jutsus,the classic mode is better.

Link, I know what you mean, but seriously... Imagine the end-game.. It's all about items and spamming jutsus... If you get to spam jutsus while using skill, it's funnier. You'll have to store everything in your brain, and it'll just be awesome!

like mompos idea, but what about , u can select in options whether u wanna do the seals or just press a button, if u just press a button it will take like 3 sec or something
while doing the jutsu on ur own it will be finished in 1.5 or so xD if u are fast haha

This could work...depends on the jutsu...

yep:) cause the one's who really cant make the jutsu on their own , then they can just use the "option" and press the numbers instead:)
