Crysis 2 Multiplayer Demo

Post  DaniEsteiro on Thu Mar 03, 2011 10:32 pm

I was watching a video and then it said that the crysis 2 multiplayed demo was out, so i tried it out, i hated myself for that choice.
First off, the download took a half hour aprox. Then when i had it i tried joining a game and fell the awesome sauce running through my veins, double-clicked the first server, a message appeared "Server full", i was like "Ok, another one". "Server full", i reasoned that it was because of the amazing flow of ppl entering servers at the same time, i tried one with 4 out of 12 players "Server full", okay.. wtf, i looked it up, one said he had solved the problem by going to serves of ping which exeeded 90, i did so and i was in the waiting room. I waited.... and waited, the game appeared to start as soon as there were 12 ppl in there, i got tired and went out with my family to buy ice-cream. When i came back i entered one and it started quite quickly, but the game is WAY too hard for noobs, plus in the map i was playing there was a part where i fell down and died constantly, the game fails in multiplayer and there is no singleplayer demo with it so i exited and played minecraft.
The reason i got pwned constanly was the following: As you know Crysis is about a dude with a suite that does shit like speed, strenght, armor and invicibility, everything from a simple hud showing them and the suits energy, in this one when you try to change you have only 3 of those 4, camo, strenght and armor; the reason is: YOU CANT RUN WITHOUT SPENDING ENERGY!!. In Crysis 1 you could use the superspeed as that, SUPERSPEED, but here you run like in MW2 and still deplete precious suit energy.
Another example would be the Maximum Armor state, you deplete your energy over time instead of losing energy when shot.
The game fails in many ways, even when not in game, using stupid graphic change options like resolution, AF, 3D mode and.... thats it, no shadow option, no texture option, no post processing otion, just those 3 choices, if you want you are welcome to try:

Yeah I know what you mean I though it sucks because its not easy to take the enemy down like I was playing a round and I'm putting a full clip in a enemy and he kills me with a burst.

Isn't Crysis that game that requires a super-crazy-awesome-epic computer?

I didn't play multiplayer, but I didn't had any problems with suit energy in singleplayer.

yep, to run at 60 fps, which is unpractical, a medium-low config looks epic anyways, check the minimum reqs at the page i provided
